Data Sets: A note on data compatibility

    If you are using GeoBase 2.5, you need to download data specifically for 2.5 (such as D9 - 2009 Q1 - GBv2.5 ).

    For higher versions of GeoBase, you can use 3.0 versions of data because it is backward compatible (after 2.5).

    For example, if you're using GeoBase 2.8 you can download UK - 2008 Q3 - GBv3.0 but should not use the 2.5 versions of data.

    Note: GeoBase 3.0 must use data starting at 3.0.
